THE WRITING OF APPEARANCES
The writing of appearances is a multimedia exhibition project that questions the limits of the visible through an intimate journey into the jungle, to the ancestral lands of the indigenous communities in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. It leads to the most important archaeological discovery of the last century in Colombia: better known as La Ciudad Perdida (The Lost City).

Artisanal Printing Process
With photography, I am interested in
exploring the materiality of the image; that’s why I use artisanal printing processes. This series includes techniques that gave rise to color photography, such as bichromate gum and arabic gum, as well as noble processes like platinotype and argyrotype.
